Berthaut Époisses 250g is one of Burgundy’s most iconic washed-rind cheeses, handcrafted by Fromagerie Berthaut in the village of Époisses, France. Made from cow’s milk and regularly washed with Marc de Bourgogne during aging, the cheese develops its signature orange rind, intensely aromatic character, and luxuriously spoonable texture. Fromagerie Berthaut helped revive traditional Époisses production in 1956 and remains one of the benchmark producers of this celebrated AOP cheese. Rich, pungent, and deeply savory, Époisses delivers notes of cultured butter, roasted nuts, cellar earth, cured meat, and sweet cream balanced by the fruity warmth of the Marc de Bourgogne wash.
