El Tesoro Añejo is a traditionally made 100% agave tequila from La Alteña distillery — tahona-crushed, fiber-fermented, and oak-aged for a rich, balanced añejo with genuine heritage.
El Tesoro is one of the last producers to fully embrace traditional tequila-making. Founded by Don Felipe Camarena in 1937 and now overseen by his grandson Carlos Camarena, the distillery crushes its agave with a tahona stone wheel and ferments with the fiber. The Añejo is aged in oak to develop oak, caramel, and vanilla over the agave base while preserving the brand’s signature character.
It is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, where its heritage and oak depth show.
