Ewephoria Sheep’s Milk Gouda is a Dutch gouda-style cheese made from pasteurized sheep’s milk and aged approximately 9–12 months to develop its signature sweet, nutty character. Created in Holland through a collaboration between Cheeseland and Dutch cheesemakers in the Friesland region, the cheese was specifically crafted to highlight the rich butterfat and natural sweetness of sheep’s milk.
Firm yet creamy with delicate crunchy protein crystals, Ewephoria delivers notes of butterscotch, caramel, toasted pecans, browned butter, and sweet cream balanced by a gentle savory finish. Often described as “the candy cheese,” its rich, dessert-like flavor makes it especially versatile for cheese boards, pairing beautifully with figs, grapes, dark beer, sherry, and toasted nuts
