Matured for thirty five years from a single cask (#14969), there are only 183 bottlings available of this expression. A spicy, damp oak style gives way to mocha and raspberries with a dark toffee sweetness on the nose. The palate is thick and morish – treacle, chocolate coated raisins and ginger balanced by a buttery barley character. From allspice to espresso, juicy plums and orange zest, the finish lingers wonderfully.
