Grey Goose VX was the first spirit to combine vodka and cognac in a single expression — inspired by François Thibault, the Cellar Master who created Grey Goose, and rooted in the heritage of the Cognac region where both spirits are produced. The cognac addition (a small but meaningful proportion of multi-year aged Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie) adds dried fruit, vanilla, and aromatic complexity to the clean, smooth Grey Goose wheat spirit base without transforming the vodka into a cognac — the result is something new: a spirit with the smoothness and clarity of premium vodka and the aromatic warmth of aged cognac character.
