Kavalan Classic is the first whisky produced by Taiwan’s Kavalan distillery — a single malt matured in the sub-tropical climate of Yilan County, with tropical fruit, vanilla, and a creamy texture.

Crafted in northeastern Taiwan using cool mountain air and pure water from Snow Mountain, Kavalan Classic is aged primarily in refill and ex-bourbon barrels, with a small proportion in sherry casks. Taiwan’s warm climate accelerates maturation, producing remarkable depth at a young age. The ex-bourbon barrels give a creamy texture and tropical fruit character, while the sherry component adds a subtle sweetness.

It works neat or with a drop of water, and makes an aromatic base for premium cocktails.
