Chenin King’ Ken Forrester makes 23 passes through the vineyard to pick grapes at perfect ripeness for his FMC. It’s a labour of love that pays off in spades, producing in this vintage a wine with incredible intensity and depth. Layers of complexity on the palate which rolls through golden citrus, yellow plums, lemon sherbet, mango, pineapple and lemon curd, all underpinned by vibrant acidity. Creamy, toasty, fruity, mineral, salty; I’m not sure what more you’d desire from a Cape Chenin. So memorable! Drinking Window 2025-2045.
