Kōloa Kauaʻi Coffee Rum is a collaboration between Kōloa Rum Company and Kauaʻi Coffee Company — twice-distilled from pure Hawaiian cane sugar in a vintage 1,210-gallon steam-powered copper pot still, infused with locally grown Kauaʻi coffee, and bottled at 34% ABV, where the lower proof level allows the complex flavours of the locally grown Hawaiian coffee to express themselves with far greater nuance and clarity.

Kōloa Rum Company was founded in 2009 as the first licensed rum distillery on Kauaʻi — the island where Hawaii’s commercial sugar industry was born in 1835. The Coffee Rum brings together two of Kauaʻi’s most important agricultural products: sugarcane and coffee from one of the largest single-estate coffee producers in the United States. The filtered rainwater from Mount Waiʻaleʻle and the volcanic-grown coffee from Kauaʻi’s hills produce a rum that opens as a well-crafted espresso, transitions through dry vanilla and chocolate, and delivers hazelnut and stone fruit on the finish.
