Maker’s Mark 46 is a wheated bourbon finished with seared French oak staves — fully matured Maker’s Mark taken a step further for bolder, deeper flavor while keeping the brand’s signature smoothness.
Maker’s Mark 46 starts with fully matured Maker’s Mark straight from the barrel. Seared French oak staves are then inserted into the barrel, and the whisky is finished longer in the cool aging cellar. The French oak imparts richer, deeper notes of caramel and vanilla and a touch more spice, building complexity on top of the soft, wheated Maker’s Mark base.
It is excellent neat or on the rocks, and adds depth to a bourbon cocktail.
