Traverse City Barrel Proof Bourbon 750ml

NOSE: Corn chips, hazelnut, honey, pastry dough, campfire and hints of citrus and vanilla bean PALATE: Nutty with hints of red fruit. Amazing balance of sweet grain and barrel flavors that hit all over at first and quickly nestle to the sides of the tongue. FINISH: Long, balanced and very mellow for its ABV. Lingering flavors of barley, caramel, dried apricot and baking spice radiate pleasantly. OVERALL: Tremendous balance of flavors with a staggering amount of complexity. This is one of those barrels that reminds us of how lucky I we are to have access to bourbon of this caliber. The balance on the palate is memorable and impressive indeed. Its finish is remarkable in length and boldness of flavors. This is a stunning and notable 5-year that comes off much more mature. Simply brilliant.
