Patron Reposado Tequila

Patrón Reposado is the rested expression in the core Patrón lineup — the same 100% Blue Weber agave, tahona and roller mill blend, and double copper pot still distillation as Patrón Silver, then aged over six months in a combination of new and used American and French oak barrels that add vanilla and honey sweetness while softening the pepper and agave intensity of the unaged Silver.

Reposado (literally ‘rested’) is the tequila category’s intermediate age statement — aged a minimum of two months but less than a year, with Patrón’s over-six-month maturation at the longer end of the reposado range. The new and used American and French oak combination gives Patrón Reposado a dual character: the new oak contributes more assertive vanilla and toasted wood notes, while the used oak provides a softer, more integrated influence. The result is a bridge expression — the fresh agave brightness of Silver is still present, but tempered by oak sweetness and a rounder, more sipping-oriented texture.
